Please take note of the following information around the "how to" of the commenting system used on this site...
Your username will automatically be added to your posted comment but entering your e-mail or website address is optional. Entering one or both of these will link your name to this address (these addresses) in your posted comment.
To insert a link into the body of your comment, click on the "Web Address" icon (the chain-link-like button in the "BBCode" menu). In your comment, replace the first instance of the word "null" with the actual web address and replace the second instance of the word "null" with the text you wish to be displayed in your comment, for your link. For example: "[URL=null]null[/URL]" becomes "[URL=http://www.with-created-expression.com/]a link to this site[/URL]" and shows up as "a link to this site" in the posted comment.
To add an e-mail address into the body of your comment, click on the "Email Address" icon (the envelope button in the "BBCode" menu). Replace the word "null" with the e-mail address you wish to add. For example: "[EMAIL]null[\EMAIL]" becomes "[EMAIL] This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it [\EMAIL]" and shows up as " This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it " in the posted comment.
The security code is the orange box with the orange numbers above and to the right of the "Send" button. These numbers must be transcribed into the text box directly above the "Send" button *before* submitting a comment. Unfortunately not doing this or doing this but with an error in the transcription, wipes out everything that was entered before this except the actual body of the comment. At least that stays put, right? And... oh the lengths we go to to avoid spam :o( |
