To switch your hosting services to those of The Collective Edge, all you need to do is change the hosting information assigned to your site in your domain name server registry. To do this, login to your domain name server registry. Now manage (or administer or whatever word your registry uses) the domain name you are switching. Edit (or change or whatever word your registry uses) the hosting information to read as follows...
Name Server: ns1.thecollectiveedge.ca IP Address: 74.52.131.242
Name Server: ns2.thecollectiveedge.ca IP Address: 74.52.131.243
(And, if the Administrator and Technical Support information does not point to you and you would prefer that it continue to not point to you, please send me an e-mail and I will forward the information you will need.) Save the changes. That's it!
Once this is done, The Collective Edge can create a hosting account for your domain and you can start copying your files. Once your files are transferred and the site is again live in the world, you can safely remove the (now) redundant files from your original host.
